What they say:
Opening this July in one of London's most sought-after postcodes, Sackville's sets up shop in Mayfair, offering its guest a huge array of delectable concoctions and culinary treats. Spread across two floors, and with a menu bursting full of flavour, this luxurious eatery will be serving a number of mouth-watering dishes created using the finest Croatian truffles. From poussin baked in truffle oil to burgers framed by truffle brioche buns, the restaurant's decadent menu and wonderful decor oozes sophistication and style. Completing the already extravagant package, the restaurant boasts an idyllic basement bar and lounge, under the reigns of expert mixologist Monica Berg and serving some of the quirkiest alcoholic creations around.
What we say:
Serving delicious, extravagant food and ice-cold cocktails, the Sackville's restaurant will struggle to stick out in this opulent area. Although much of its menu is made up of classic dishes with an additional truffle twist, boasting itself as restaurant serving succulent meats and lavish truffles won't help it gain attention in Mayfair. But what will make a difference is the talent of the experienced team behind this venture. While Monica Berg takes control of the basement bar, the kitchen will be under the control of seasoned chef Wayne Dixon, the former senior sous chef at Gordon Ramsay's Maze Grill. With bags full of knowledge, experience and skill, they definitely have the capability of taking this restaurant up West London's steep culinary ladder.
