The world famous hotel brand Nobu has opened a new fusion restaurant in Shoreditch, as part of the opening of its first hotel in Europe. With head chef Nobu Matsuhisa in charge of the kitchen, and with Executive Chef Greg Seregi and Head Sushi Chef Teruya Noriyoshi providing back-up, guests can enjoy the usual mix of Japanese and Peruvian flavours that have come to signpost everything that Matsuhisa does; expect the likes of black cod miso, yellowtail sashimi with jalapenos and a few innovative surprises on the menu. Sleek, stylish and with two elegant terraces, this venue is a big hitter in Shoreditch's fine-dining scene.

Matching the Nobu hotels in Miami, Las Vegas and Manila are anything to go by, this restaurant is one of the swankiest spots in town. It's framed by glass doors, stylish furniture and beautiful doorways. Better still, the 240-cover restaurant is perfect for a special celebration; both roof terraces are available for hire and the private dining area for 18 people overlooks the open kitchen. We're expecting big things from this giant.
