When Simon and Joy Brigg said they wanted ten Porky’s sites open in the next two years, they weren’t kidding around you know. Having cut their teeth in Camden and Bankside, the husband and wife duo are looking East this time around as they complete a trinity of Memphis-styled restaurants and cocktail bars. Expect the usual range of BBQ’d treats washed down with torrents of craft beer and cocktails, and a blues soundtrack on the speakers.
What we say:
The dust has barely settled after their second opening earlier this summer, but that was never going to stop the Porky’s team driving forward and adding a third site to their arsenal. They’ve bagged themselves a prime spot in the heart of East London, and they’re sure to win the intrigue of a Shoreditch crowd enticed through the door as the scent of perfectly cooked meaty treats wafts down the High Street.
