Description
Renowned for its USDA brisket, pork and beef rib cuisine, David Carter’s Smokestak has earned itself a loyal following at food festivals and Street Feast sites since opening back in 2013.
At their permanent Shoreditch site, meat lovers can tuck into some serious BBQ goods with a slightly more “grown-up” feel. Dressed in black-barbon-stained concrete walls and old workshop furnishings, it serves a range of signature dishes and new plates in a 75-cover restaurant designed to feel like the inside of a smoker. You’ll be able to gorge on crispy beef shin, brisket buns and thick-cut pork ribs in a striking venue complete with an open-plan kitchen and an outdoor terrace with room for up to 30.
Smokestak also features a cosy, candlelit bar in the basement. Ideal for a few pre-dinner drinks and a couple of bar snack bites, the concise drinks menu features cocktails, wines and a collection of locally brewed beers.
