The bubble waffle dessert has become famous in Hong Kong thanks to its distinctive look and texture, and they plan to make it a hit here too, using a traditional recipe and free range eggs to make the unique golden batter fresh to order. And to top it off, they literally top it all off with tonnes of tasty treats that your dentist would almost certainly disapprove of.

We all love waffles, it’s an undeniable fact, but just look at those bubble waffles. Not only are they funky looking, they might just be one of the most appetising desserts out there. They’ve got a variety of toppings for you sweet-toothers, including Oreo Delight filled with cookies & cream gelato and topped with – you guessed it – Oreo chocolate cookies. There’s also Mad About Matcha, which is matcha (a special Chinese green tea)-infused waffle filled with matcha ice cream and a matcha biscuit. Sticking with the dessert’s heritage, the drinks too are Eastern-orientated, with the cocktail list featuring options like white sake sangria and plum sake sour. Who needs a summer bod anyway?
