Description
The team of siblings behind Gymkhana and Trishna now bring you their latest Tamil-based venture called Hoppers. Based in Soho, Hoppers is inspired by the characterful roadside shacks of Southern India and Sri Lanka, and will introduce London's curry-mad crowds to some of their favourite dishes and treats.
Hoppers is the smallest venue in the family's empire of culinary spots. Expect it to full of all the wonders associated with the Sub-Continent; from beautiful picture of India's many landmarks to a range of idyllic antiques, this spot is bursting full of the vibrant life that India's famous for. With roadside shacks in mind, the overall feel will be far more casual compared to its sister companies; casual but still exquisite.
The centrepiece here will be the restaurants delicious Hoppers and Dosa menu. Hoppers are incredibly popular in Tamil Nadu and are created using fermented rice batter and coconut milk. Similarly made, the Dosa adds mouth-watering lentils to a fermented rice batter crêpe. Both wonderfully combine an array of spices and really bring the heat and lively passion of Indian life to your table.
