INKO NITO brings casual Japanese dining to Soho.
Brought to you by the people behind Zuma, this restaurant is an ‘unconventional’ Japanese Robatayaki, where diners can see the food being prepared over charcoal. The open robata grill sits in the middle of the venue surrounded by counter seating. The spot boasts one unusual quirk in its design - all the seats are levelled at different heights to give everyone a unique perspective over the grill and the heart of the action.
This place serves up a wide range of Japanese dishes, from lamb shoulder chop, wasabi shisho marinade and roasted nori yogurt, to whole tiger prawns, garlic, and lemon sansho. There’s also sushi, including ‘nigaki’, which is a new style sushi made from roasted nori and sushi rice. Alongside the food, guests can enjoy a wonderful array of beers, wines, sake and cocktails, which are served on tap. Starting at £9, you can enjoy drinks like Nori Old Fashioned, and Inko Spritz, made from watermelon, Aperol, yuzu and sparkling wine.
