Description
Lina Stores has been around since 1944, trading authentic Italian sandwiches and pasta out of its first-ever location on Soho's Brewer Street before turning it into a restaurant in 2018. It then expanded to the likes of King's Cross and Greek Street, which is where you'll find this 12-seater bar and basement eatery. Keeping to its signature pistachio-green and white colour palette, it's an absolute treat for the eyes, featuring a stainless steel counter and pendant lighting.
Classic pasta dishes are on the menu here, as well as antipasti and dolci in addition to an apertivo bar serving traditional wines and cocktails (limoncello spritz or white negroni, anyone?). Begin your feast with sea salt and rosemary focaccia, fried artichokes with aioli and salsa verde, or Black Angus beef carpaccio before moving onto an ever-changing selection of plates. The 30-egg yolk tagliolini, black truffle, butter and Parmigiano Reggiano is a firm favourite, alongside the casarecce with prawns and tomato. And to finish? Why, it's affogato of course.
