What they say:
Encant founder Victor Garvey is back and opening his second solo venture in Soho. Rambla is a 60-cover restaurant stretched over two floors and aims to bring a delicious taste of Catalan to Central London. The menu is divided into three parts: seafood, raw and inspired by the mountains, while the wine is all from Spain. There will also be a range of gin and tonics and cocktails to be enjoyed in this light and airy Dean Street venue.
What we say:
He's already blown our socks off with Encant and now Victor Garvey is back with another Catalan-inspired eatery, only this time it's even bigger. Named after the street he grew up on, Rambla restaurant brings a taste of Barcelona's beach-side chic to us land-locked Londoners. From fresh seafood such as a jumbo scallop in crystallised veal jus to the mountain-inspired Catalan black pudding sandwich, the food menu looks set to bring us a fresh taste of Spain.
