Rita's Soho

Rita's is a modern American restaurant tucked away in Carnaby. It was founded in 2012 by chef-owner Gabriel Pryce and Missy Flynn who continue to oversee seasonal British produce whipped up into sharing plates, inspired by their travels across America

Housed within a Grade II-listed building, the decor is a nod to Old Americana - think rustic Mexican tiles, sleek booths and leafy green plants. Outside, there's a secret terrace surrounded by greenery that's perfect for alfresco dining.

You'll find an ever-changing, seasonally inspired menu consisting of small and large plates to share among friends. Expect to devour the likes of yellowfin tuna crudo with sour chile salsa (£18), asparagus with Creole gribiche and horseradish (£15) and smoked and grilled lamb with hispi, tamarind and anchovy (£31), alongside a helping of French fries (£4.50) and braised green beans (£7) as part of its dinner offering.

The wine list is equally as expansive, with a mix of orange, sparkling and red on offer, plus there's a mix of classic cocktails to wash everything down. The House Rita V21 (£13) includes Tapatio blanco tequila and hibiscus triple sec, and the espresso martini (£13) is not to be missed either.
