What they say:
The masterminds behind luxury Indian restaurant the Tamarind of Mayfair are opening another venue in Soho, the Tamarind Kitchen. Unlike its predecessor, this venue is focusing on a more laid back attitude, which is channelled through its design. The venue features exposed walls, wooden panelling and old-fashioned wooden furnishings to match. The menu is all about social eating, meaning you can tuck into delicious Tandoor food underneath their ornate lanterns with all your friends and family.
What we say:
Taking the Michelin-star winning formula from the Tamarind of Mayfair and giving it a laid-back edge, the newest Indian restaurant on the block could be a winner. The menu delivers on dishes from Awadhi kebabs to South Indian curries, utilising delicious fish, meat and game and cooked in their authentic Tandoor oven. To wash everything down, they’ve got a selection of great European wines as well as a cocktail list featuring some great Indian twists.
