Description
The Good Egg brings Tel Aviv cooking to Soho.
Their second venue after opening in Stoke Newington, The Good Egg has set up shop in Kingly Court. These guys are renowned for their brunches; with dishes like bacon and egg pitta with date jam and shakshuka baked with eggs, tomato, peppers and preserved lemon yoghurt.
Their onsite pitta oven and smoker means that the evening menu includes dishes like pastrami cured salmon and caper schmear, or za’atar fried chicken thighs with chilli honey. There's also a bakery delivering challah, bagels, flatbreads and the famed babka. Drinks include bloody marys and mimosas alongside their wines, craft beer and cocktails like the Cardamon Coffee: Absolut vodka and a double espresso mixed with housemade cardamom syrup and milk, served over ice.
