What they say:
Combining Western ingredients with Asian home recipes, The Ugly Dumplings are the masters of artisan fusion dumplings. They cut their teeth on the street food circuit and are now known across the capital thanks to their commitment to delicious bites and beautiful looking dishes. Setting up shop in Soho will make a lot of Chinese food fans happy, especially once their brand new menu – and brunch offering – is revealed.
What we say:
Unlike its namesake, The Ugly Dumplings is beautiful inside and out, with just a look at the those bite-sized dishes being enough to make your mouth water. Their fusion dumplings, such as their pork & prawn dumpling with oyster sauce and shoaxing rice wine, have made them quite a reputation, but they aren’t just going to rest on their laurels. The new Soho site, which takes the place of now-closed BBQ restaurant Little Pitt, will feature a new, contemporary dumpling menu packed with signature treats for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike.
