Description
This all-day eatery in Stockwell comes from very good stock. From the team behind the neighbouring Canton Arms, as well as Waterloo's Anchor & Hope and Great Queen Street in the City, Stockwell Continental took over the site formerly held by local tapas hotspot Rebato's.
Serving a range of European-inspired dishes, Stockwell Continental starts you off with with coffees, pastries and fresh juices in the morning, while lunch consists of a delicious selection of focaccias, salads and pasta with menus shifting seasonally. In the evenings, the restaurant shifts its focus to sourdough pizzas and wood-fired steaks, along with homemade salumi and an ever-changing specials board.
The centrepiece to the restaurant is a large marble bar, behind which staff pour delicious craft beers and European wines, which are primarily on tap. If you're after something a little more Italian, sip on a selection of classic aperitivos.
