From the brains behind The Kings Arms, The Ring and Jack's Bar comes Mc & Sons an Irish boozer with a twist. Now home in the spot once occupied by The Charles Dickens, this watering hole has been stripped it back to its roots. Expect traditional decor with historic photos hanging on the walls, snuggly corners and some four-legged friends.

Along with pouring Ireland's favourite pint (Guinness), the pub serves a rotational selection of English and rarely available Irish craft ales. The menu is inspired by Chiang Mai in northern Thailand; with dishes from a traditional Pad Thai to banana chips and a regional delicacy – Khao Soi noodles. As well as table service in the evening, Mc & Sons have a takeaway lunch box service with various Thai dishes starting at £6.
