Bergen House

This charming Newington Green eatery is the perfect Friday night dinner option. With comfy booth seating, warm atmospheric lighting and a relaxed ambience, it's ideal for a date night or dinner with friends.

Serving up hearty British and European food, the Bergen House menu is comprised of steak, sharing dishes and small plates. There's a great variety of menu items on offers, from giant sausage and mash and beef wellington sharers, to croquettes, halloumi spring rolls, a crispy harissa chicken burger and whole baked Camembert. The restaurant also serves a slap up Sunday roast, with lamb, chicken, beef, pork belly and vegetarian options. 

The bar serves a simple but interesting list of wines designed to compliment their dishes, and while cocktails are not on the menu, they're more than happy to whip you up a Negroni, and Aperol Spritz or a Bloody Mary. There's also a great list of draught and bottled beers with plenty of craft options.
