Perilla

Perilla is a new contemporary casual-dining restaurant based in Newington Green. Using a range of fresh ingredients and with an experienced team of chefs, restaurateurs and managers at the helm, it hopes to couple a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere with flavoursome, high-quality dishes.

Having been stationed across London as a temporary pop-up, you might have seen the name at Platform 1 in Dulwich. But now opening a permanent outfit in East London, chef Ben Marks will be hoping to leave guests beaming with his menu of seasonal treats.

Guests can expect to find an ever-changing menu, composed of modern takes on classic European recipes; think cuttlefish bolognese, fried duck egg with chopped mussels and seaweed bread brushed with roasted lamb fat. And of course, like any fantastic restaurant, the bar will be stocked with the finest wines and spirits produced on vineyards across the globe and by London's best small batch distillers.
