What they say:
Wander is the Stoke Newington restaurant that holds seasonal ingredients close to its heart. The restaurant showcases the very best that Britain's producers have to offer, using these fresh ingredients to make recipes sourced from around the world. At the same time, Alexis Noble and her team of chefs aren't afraid of experimenting and look to combine unique flavours at every opportunity. When you aren't tucking into traditional brunch plates on the weekend, you can enjoy dinner dishes like mackerel ceviche, served with strawberry and mint sauce and clams cooked in Pollen cider with nduja.
What we say:
Despite having a really cringy slogan - 'Not all those who wander are lost...' - Wander is exactly the sort of restaurant that would do well in a spot like Stoke Newington. In recent years, the east London area has seen loads of bars and restaurants open, all targeting the many young, sock-hating hipster crowds. But Wander itself looks to be a bit of a breath of fresh air. As with every good restaurant, the team keep things simple and light, serving plates that explode with taste without leaving you feeling a bit groggy; exactly how casual dining should be.
