Description
Daddy Bao is a Taiwanese restaurant in Tooting.
The second restaurant from the man behind Peckham’s Mr Bao, the venue takes its name from his dad; a former restaurateur and inspiration for the brand. The menu is a mixture of classic Mr Bao dishes mixed in with a few exclusive to the site.
As the name suggests, this south London spot specialises in bao buns; such as the Mr Bao, made from slow braised Flock & Herd pork, pickles and peanut powder. There's also smaller sharing dishes like pork dumplings and sesame spinach. Alongside bottomless brunch, you'll find classic cocktails with a Taiwanese twist, like the sake martini or Szechuan Old Fashioned, as well as special lychee craft beer from Old Kent Road Brewery.
