While Indian food already sports a pretty rich choice for vegans, this Walthamstow curry house is bringing even more flavour and finesse to the table - with a cracking brunch menu to boot. Following extensive travels throughout India, founder Grace Regan created SpiceBox, which has now found a permanent home in Walthamstow. Open seven days a week for dinner (and brunch on weekends), the new spot is creating dishes that include the likes of Chick'n tikka massala and jackfruit jalfrezi.
Along with vegan mains, the restaurant will be keeping the Street Bites section, seen from their street-food pop-up days, with nibbles such as loaded onion bhajis and potato and pea somosas. Drinks include the classic Cobra beer and an IPA brewed in Walthamstow from Wild Card Brewery, as well as a short list of cocktails; think Chai White Russian and Masala Mojito.
