As the flight of Japanese openings has ever spread its wings in London, another new restaurant venture heads to the West End as Murakami takes its place on St Martin's Lane.
A fresh and veritable wonderland of Japanese cuisine, not only does the food echoes its Eastern ethos, so too does its interiors. From a 12ft living plant wall and neutral tones, to flushed wood and ever flowing foliage, Murakami plays homage to the natural understandings of Japanese cuisine.
Now only will guests be able to indulge in a cocktail menu courtesy of Shrub and Shutter and a unique collection of Japanese whisky, there's traditional Japanese dishes with a contemporary twist to be scoffed. From Yellowtail carpaccio to Dragon Rolls with smoked eel, the menu is sashimi, sushi and robatayaki heavy.
