Bow St Tavern

Free round of Guinness when you dine with us

Bow St Tavern can be found in the heart of Theatreland and is famed for its association with the Bow Street Runners, AKA Britian's first police force. The caller is home to a former prison cell, but the tropical, foliage-adorned rooftop is what's captured our hearts. It also hosts Sing Sing, a private karaoke room, should you and your friends wish to belt out some pop classics after you've finished sipping on espresso martinis and bloody marys in its lantern-laced hideout. On the menu, you'll find small plates like sticky pork belly and crispy potato skins, plus fresh salads drawing you in for the evening.

Kitty Hawk Rooftop Bar & Restaurant

Shuck & Slurp and 2 other offers

You'll find Kitty Hawk Rooftop Bar & Restaurant at the top of Page 8 Hotel in the heart of London's West End. It's a gorgeous space fronting golden lighting, burnt orange furnishings and, of course, stunning views. You can delight in a variety of set menus here, from pre-theatre dining to a delicious a la carte featuring the likes of North Sea halibut, Cornish lemon sole on the bone and sides of triple-cooked chips. And to drink? Think classic cocktails like a whiskey old fashioned or an espresso martini.

Marquess of Anglesey

The Marquess of Anglesey is a historic boozer famously named after the first Marquess of Anglesey, who famously lost his leg at the Battle of Waterloo. Exuding classic English charm, this pub is equipped with wooden bar stools, comfy leather booths, and a roaring fireplace. The best part? It's gorgeous rooftop bar, of course. Perched on the third floor with a fully retractable roof and windows, It's the ultimate spot to soak up some rays and sip on a fabulous selection of wines, beers, and cocktails while enjoying stunning vistas of the Covent Garden skyline.

Century

A fairy-lit, leafy oasis exists at the top of The Century Club on Shaftesbury Avenue. The member's playground offers four floors of tranquil interiors but ultimately its rooftop is the star of the show. After being established in 2001, it's now a creative hub attracting artists and musicians, boasting three terraces that offer soaring views across London. Head chef Michael Mcdaid runs the kitchen that sees global cuisine take centre stage, made using seasonal and sustainable ingredients: think grilled octopus, scialatielli pasta and John Stone 28-day dry-aged rib-eye steak. The cocktail list is equally as tempting, with bespoke tipples such as the Resposado and mezcal-based Mexican Monk up for sipping.

The Rooftop St James

The Rooftop St. James is one of the most iconic locations in the capital, allowing you to marvel at skyscrapers while tucking into European-inspired fare. Spot the London Eye from white marble tables, each equipped with a low-lit silver lamp which adds an intimate element to grand surroundings. Hop off the train at Charing Cross then head up to the top of The Trafalgar St. James to get your chops around nibbles such as yellowfin tuna crudos and slices of tiramisu with pistachio praline. Wash it all down with a refreshing spritz, such as the Scandinavian, made with Nuet Dry Aquavit and Sans lemonade.

Radio Rooftop

Without a doubt, this is one of the best rooftop bars in Covent Garden with a view, looking down upon keen shoppers who flock to the streets and the waters of the River Thames. Situated on the 10th floor of ME London, it fronts an architecturally stunning, triangular roof which shelters a glossy black and gold bar. Out on the terrace, you'll find plush cushions and plenty of greenery to transport you out of the hustle and bustle of the city and somewhere far away, high up, where you can enjoy signature cocktails like the mezcal-based Ports Of Oaxaca and the Supa Savage, made with vodka. Its brunch menu is also incredibly tempting, with the likes of pulled duck leg hash on offer, plus daytime nibbles such as chorizo sausage rolls that are perfect for sharing with your friends.
