The Cross

This multi-storey venue has got everything you need and more, from its sleek ground floor bar and basement club to the gorgeous rooftop terrace. This stylish spot promises amazing views of the city, as well as wooden benches lined with cosy cushions for those alfresco drinks. Sip on a refreshing coconut margarita or a hazelnut old fashioned, with a huge list of organic wines up for grabs too. As for food, you'll also find everything from artichoke and ricotta ravioli to roasted sea bream coated in pesto here.

The Big Chill Kings Cross

On the hunt for rooftop bars in King's Cross with a view of the city? Then check out the Big Chill, where you'll find a colourful terrace filled with trees and quirky neon signs. There are DJs playing until late from Thursday to Saturday every week, as well as bottomless brunches every weekend complete with 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks, so you won't be short of entertainment either. And to top it all off? You can also dig into tasty plates of mac 'n' cheese balls, loaded nachos or burgers.

The Lighterman

The Lighterman boasts a prime location, overlooking Regent's Canal and Granary Square. Their all-day menu features everything from brunch right through to Sunday dinners, with dishes like curried Atlantic shrimp flatbreads, pea risotto and Wagyu burgers up for grabs, may of which are wood-fired on a grill. Pair your meal with a fruity apple and blackberry spritz or a smoked and spiced margarita, while looking out over the bustling streets below. 

Booking Office 1869

Found at St Pancras station, Booking Office 1869 is a gorgeous bar with a rooftop terrace that's open from 9am right through to midnight. Their outdoor area is filled with greenery, as well as concrete sculptures and swing seating. There's an extensive wine list to be enjoyed here, as well as signature cocktails and a food menu that includes Carlingford oysters, pea and asparagus tortellini or dry-aged ribeye steaks. And if you swing by on a Friday or Saturday, expect late-night DJ sets as well.

Coal Office

A collaboration between chef Assaf Granit and furniture designer Tom Dixon, Coal Office is a trendy rooftop bar and restaurant serving up delicious eats. Among exposed Victorian brickwork and polishes silver tables, you can munch on Middle eastern dishes like poached artichoke risotto, sea bass carpaccio and asparagus polenta. There's a spacious outdoor terrace here too, promising views of the city below and a sunny spot to sip signature cocktails like the pomegranate-based Rimonana Mezcal.
