London's Best Vegan Burgers

Craft beer pub The Queen Charlotte is delving out one of the city's best vegan burgers, made from a Beyond Meat patty, chipotle slaw, gouda 'cheese', roasted red peppers and pickles slapped between two buns. Swoon.

For a stunning vegan burger in East London, make your way to welcoming boozer The Star of Bethnal Green. This trendy pub is full of vibrant red decor and plenty of plants, with a cracking selection of cocktails or craft beer up for grabs. As for the burger, expect a juicy Moving mountains patty loaded with plant-based cheese, pickles and their signature sauce, with a number of vegan dips and sides to choose from as well.

If you like your vegan burger with a side of arcade games, The Four Thieves is just the spot for you. Head on over to the quirky Battersea haunt and fuel up on a spicy bean burger topped with fiery salsa and served in a beetroot bun, before kicking ass on some old school consoles. 

With venues across London, BrewDog is the home of craft beer and big eats. Check out their hearty burger menus, which have a whopping vegan options - or head along to Dalston, where the bar has teamed up with Biff's Jack Shack for an entirely vegan menu.

British boozer The World's End is a Finsbury Park staple that's also got plenty of plant-based burgers to satisfy all vegans' hunger pangs. There are eight different flavours on the menu, ranging from a chipotle BBQ bad boy with 'beef' to a classic Korean gochujang number with a chick'n patty.

Beyond Meat patties form the basis of The Skinny Kitchen's vegan burgers, piled-high with smoked gouda-style cheese, dill pickles and homemade burger sauce. Topping it off are crispy sweet potato fries and lashings of Ibiza-style entertainment. 

Boasting sites in Waterloo, Stratford, Wimbledon, South Kensington, GBK is a brilliant burger joint, complete with plant-based patties filled with vegan mayonnaise, relish and salad. If that wasn't enough, the vegan-friendly venue has scrumptious sides such as onion rings and French fries.

A joint venture from Signature Brew and We Serve Humans, The Collab is home to some of the best burgers in London. Check out the Walthamstow spot for vegan bites, craft beer and live DJs every weekend. 

The Leyton Star is a super place to chomp away on beer and burgers with your mates in East London. This classic neighborhood hangout offers 'The Burger Formerly Known As Prince' with a new and improved recipe of spicy bean patty, guac, salsa and soft sesame bun. 

Offering their unique spin on the classic vegan burger, Blues Kitchen serve up a lip-smacking creole bean creation you're sure to love. Made with a creole bean patty, tomato salsa, vegan mayo and vegan cheese, it's one heck of a way to fill up before a night of dancing. 

Honest Burgers are home to one ruddy good Beyond Meat creation. Imagine that classic patty topped with smoked vegan Gouda, Rubies in the Red chipotle mayo, mustard, red onion, pickle and lettuce. Are you drooling yet? Yup, us too. Not in the area? Head to its Peckham outpost.

If you're on the hunt for a good vegan burger in London, check out Britannia. The venue has a plant-based patty to die for, as well as all the delish toppings from vegan bacon to a zesty relish and cheese. Pair with their impressive list of whiskies.

Pop Brixton is a vibrant event space and street food market in the heart of South London, with outdoor spaces and covered terrace areas that are perfect for munching on mouthwatering meals. There are several different vendors to choose from, as well as a bar serving all kinds of drinks, but if it's vegan junk food you're after then head to Halo burgers. These guys are dishing out a whole range of plant-based burgers, from Beyond Meat patties topped with fake bacon to smash burgers topped with crispy jalapenos and smoky mayo.

Looking for some vegan patties in East London? The iconic music venue Colour Factory has you covered as it also doubles up as a super cool bar and eatery with a south-facing terrace. You'll find Burger & Chop's menu packed with tempting bites like a homemade bean and quinoa patty with house sourkraut, chipotle BBQ sauce and mustard, all served in a brioche bun.

Located right in Greenwich, the Oystercatcher offers one of the best vegan burgers in London. You can get a classic cheeseburger to satisfy your craving, alongside a heaping pile of fries. Or, you can opt for other plant-based alternatives like their hummus and flatbreads.

Home to one heck of a Moving Mountains burger, Old Compton Brasserie pulls out all the stops with its plant-based offering. Beautifully stacked with shiitake bacon, vegan cheese, fresh salad, gherkin and avo mayo, you'll be dreaming about this bad boy for days afterwards. 

Nab yourself a scrumptious vegan burger over at Big Moe's, either at its Wembley or East London location. Think a juicy patty, gooey cheese, crispy bacon and more, all of which is plant-based. And to top it off? They're served with delicious, hand-cut fries.

Toting an all-new vegan menu, Patty and Bun have not only managed to convince us they provide some of the city's best veggie chicken nuggets, but their burgers are equally as impressive. Check out the Pamela, a glittering bun stuffed with a plant patty, gherkins, mayo and THIS bacon. 

A firm fave in the vegan eating scene, Wulf & Lamb can certainly be trusted to deliver one delicious bun. Try their signature Wulf burger made with seitan, tomato, baby gem, pickle, red onion and cashew aioli, stuffed into a brioche bun before served with sauerkraut and wedges.

Mildred's is a mainstay in London's bustling vegan food scene, so it comes as no surprise that they've got multiple vegan burgers just waiting to be munched on. Our fave? The teriyaki faux-chicken offering with shichimi mayo, pea shoots, cucumber, pickled red onion and a brioche bun.
