Opening just a stone’s throw away from Liverpool Street is Box Hall City, Boxpark’s brand-new indoor dining concept. Situated in the newly restored Metropolitan Arcade, the new food hall will be home to 13 amazing food and drinks brands.
Some of the big names opening at the new site include Sourdough Sophia, Club Mexicana (that recently set up shop in The Queen of Hoxton), Burger & Beyond, Eggslut, Gaucho and Farzi, plus many more. They’re also introducing a rotating chef-in-residence space called Kitchen No.8, where different chefs will bring their culinary expertise to life. The first chef to take the reins is Ms Joyce K, Star of Channel 4’s Five Star Chef: Britain’s Next Great Chef, where she’ll be serving up Congolese-inspired dishes. Later in the year, Great British Menu champion, James Cochran, will be cooking up British and Caribbean cuisine.

The KitKat X Blockbuster pop-up allows you to step inside the shop, browse the shelves for an old-school movie, then go up to the counter to swap the VHS for a movie streaming code and a KitKat sharing bar. It’s walk-ins only, so ensure to get down there nice and early to nab your free chocolate.
