National Centre for Circus Arts
The National Centre for Circus Arts is a professional circus school in the Hoxton area in London that offers one of the UK's only university degree programmes in circus. It is a leading centre for contemporary circus training.
We have been fostering the development of circus professionals across the UK for over 30 years. Our mission is to promote the circus arts, and support aspiring performers of all ages & abilities.
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue operates a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
13. Social Media - At the end of a Circus Experience Day, we may take a photo of the group for use on our Social Media channels. If you do not want to be featured, please let the staff know.
14. Warm ups and latecomers - Please ensure you are in the Reception area, changed and ready to begin, prior to your class start time. Latecomers may not be admitted. All students are required to take part in the led warm-up for their class. If you have any medical reason that limits your ability to take part in the warm up please let us know and we will endeavour to support your needs.
15. Health and Safety - The National Centre for Circus Arts aims to provide a well-maintained environment that all users and staff members find safe and enjoyable to use and where goals can be effectively achieved. Circus Experience Day (16+)
1 ticket per person. Activities on the day may include:
Who it’s for Anyone aged 16+ looking for a fun, active day or wanting to try circus skills! This workshop is suitable for complete beginners, but participants with certain injuries or waist sizes over 43 inches may not be able to join some activities. Unfortunately, this workshop isn’t suitable for pregnant individuals. Please note: participants will not be permitted to take part if they have consumed alcohol before or during the session. What to wear Comfortable clothing such as leggings, tracksuit bottoms, or a leotard, and a t-shirt with clean indoor trainers. Please avoid jeans, baggy clothes, shorts, or trousers with side pockets, as these are unsuitable for the activities. All jewellery must be removed for safety reasons. |
