Long live Britpop! Craft your way to a cool Britannia on Saturday 12th July when Sip & Sew will be at The Banker to teach you the joys of embroidery over a drink or two!
What better place to get creative than the comfort of your favourite pub. You'll be provided with the tuition and materials to create your beautiful Cool Britannia embroidery (with access to the bar to relax while you do it!) all you need to bring is your imagination!
Workshop includes:
- 2 hours of relaxed embroidery tuition including starting your embroidery, different stitches and embellishment techniques, blending threads and finishing your embroidery
- a complimentary glass of wine
- All materials including embroidery hoop and cotton, Cool Britannia embroidery pattern, choice of threads, beads and sequins
- ‘How To’ stitch guide.
- Your very own embroidery to take home and keep!

All abilities welcome including beginners - all patterns are designed for every level of stitching experience!

Hello!
I'm Katy, a professional embroiderer with a passion for spreading the joys of embroidery far and wide! I am also a firm believer that craft should be accessible to everyone and that everyone has the capability to become a skilled crafter. My classes are relaxed and informal and my only requirement for you to bring on the day is your imagination.
I provide the tools for you to create your very own embroidery - - including hoop, fabric, pre-drawn design of your choice, threads, beads, sequins and embellishment so you can sit back and relax in the comfort of a beautiful pub and let the creating begin!

I had a great time during my Sip & Sew workshop this week. I loved learning about embroidery and to do something a little different after work.
