Looking to learn a new skill, whilst having fun too? Join us for a relaxed and creative  modern 'Disco Queen' embroidery workshop over a drink or two!

What better place to get creative than the comfort of your favourite pub.. You'll be supplied with all the materials to create your beautiful embroidery with access to the bar to relax while you do it! all you need to bring is your imagination!

Workshop includes:

  • 2 hours of relaxed embroidery tuition including starting your embroidery, different stitches and embellishment techniques, blending threads and finishing your embroidery
  • All materials including embroidery hoop and cotton, monogram design of your initial, choice of threads, beads and sequins
  • ‘How To’ stitch guide.
  • Your very own ‘initial’ embroidery to take home and keep!

Drinks not included - available at the bar

All abilities welcome including beginners - all patterns are designed for every level of stitching experience!

Hello! I'm Katy, a professional embroiderer with a passion for spreading the joys of modern embroidery far and wide! I am also a firm believer that craft should be accessible to everyone and that everyone has the capability to become a skilled crafter. My classes are relaxed and informal and my only requirement for you to bring on the day is your imagination. I provide the tools for you to create your very own embroidery - - including hoop, fabric, pre-drawn design of your choice, threads, beads, sequins and embellishment so you can sit back and relax in the comfort of a beautiful pub and let the creating begin!

T&Cs

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.

    I had a great time during my Sip & Sew workshop this week. I loved learning about embroidery and to do something a little different after work. Katy was a great host and teacher and I'd definitely recommend taking part in one of her creative workshops for some fun!
