Mother's Comedy Ball is a new monthly comedy night bringing you the funniest and most diverse of London's up and coming comedians.

We are passionate to bring you the best of all London's rising stars, including the talents of women, LGBTQIA, POC, people with disabilities and neurodiverse communities.

IZZY ASKWITH: Izzy Askwith’s low energy mumblings have proved popular with audiences and judges alike - she’s just won Funny Women, as well as being a finalist in the Comedy Virgins Max Turner competition and Rising Star New Act Competition, and a semi-finalist in the 2Northdown New Act competition. "A winning package" Chortle

MARTIN JOSEPH: Martin is a London based comedian and podcast host. He spent his twenties travelling the world working as a dancer. Once he realised he could get just as much attention telling rude jokes as he did from leaping around in spandex, he jumped head first into comedy. He is the host of the weekly pop culture Podcast ‘The Real Brunch’ - talking everything from disastrous dates to interviewing celeb guests about theirs. His career has been predicted to be “moderately successful” by world famous Psychic, Sally Morgan. Before this his crowning achievement was winning Beaver Of the year in (Cumbria Scout & Beavers, 1996)

VICTORIA MELODY: Victoria Melody is an “off – piste comic treat” What’s On Stage

“She’s either an Idiot or Genius, we can’t decide” University Lecturer.

Victoria Melody is funny, surreal and profound. From living on a boat and having massive muscles to looking like Garth from Wayne’s World. Her comedy style is startlingly bonkers and utterly relatable at the same time.

KATERINA ROBINSON: Described as "London's answer to Samantha Jones"- Evening Standard. Previous credits include BBC, Edinburgh Fringe, Vault Festival & Soho Theatre. Her latest project LADS written, directed and starring Katerina is available to rent or buy on Vimeo on Demand. LADS has been praised as a "Top Streaming Pick" by Chortle and featured in British Comedy Guide, BBC Three Counties Radio, Beyond The Joke, Daily Star Newspaper and Wonderland Magazine.

SARAH MILLS: Sarah Mills is an award-winning comedian who has performed all over the UK and abroad.  High energy, optimistic and with an absurd take on the world around her, Sarah is living proof that good things come in small packages.

GEORGIE MORRELL: Georgie is. stand up, writer and presenter. She has performed three solo shows, at Edinburgh fringe and her debut show  A Poke In The Eye went on UK tour and  transferred to Soho Theatre

As seen and heard on BBC Radio 5, BBC Ouch, Channel 5 and a presenter on RNIB Connect Radio. 'A seat on Graham Norton's sofa surely awaits " ★★★★1/2 The Reviews HuB. " Engrossing...highly entertaining and well worth seeing " " Riotous, unapologetic and side-splittingly funny, Morrell pours fuel onto the fire, and sets disability taboos alight . “Disability Arts Online

KEVIN O’CONNELL: Kevin is a small Irishman in shiny boots who tells jokes. Since moving to London in 2016, Kevin has been making waves with his high energy performances and whimsical material. He was the People’s Choice Winner at the Chortle Student comedy awards 2013, a finalist in the Show Me The Funny 2014 and a finalist in the ‘Forbidden Fruit Comedy Talent Search’. He was a finalist in both the Bath Comedy Festival New Act of the Year, and in the prestigious NATYs (New Act of the Year) in 2018. In 2019 he was featured on Union Jack Radio's One Night Stand.

PHILEO HUFF: Phileo defies definition. He writes satire with a surreal approach, tells truthful stories that will make you cry, think and laugh. Originally from Atlanta, Huff's turbulent personal experiences inform his deeply nihilistic comedic style. He unapologetically grapples with sex, death, suicide, drugs, depression, and violence with a confronting yet upbeat honesty. Huff's non-traditional approach has earned him a global comedy tour, accrued numerous self-produced narrative projects including short films, podcasts, and series', and enabled countless controversial and hilarious anecdotes. Huff has performed all over the world and currently lives and works in London.

ASHLEY GORMAN: Ashley Gorman is a comedian and writer from North West London, he won the London Comedy Stores brutal King Gong competition, has gigged in all the comedy clubs up and down the country and is host of The Gormania Podcast.

And your Comedy Mother for the evening is award nominated, critically acclaimed performance artist and comedian, retired porn star and single mum, Meera Cade.
