SIPSMITH AND HAM YARD HOTEL PRESENTS HOT GIN ROOF - SOME LIKE IT HOT
Ham Yard Hotel and Sipsmith, the passionate pioneers of London’s gin renaissance, return this January with their latest twist on the popular Hot Gin Roof experience. Now a firm date in the winter diary, Hot Gin Roof is returning to the private roof terrace of this beautiful hotel, with a historically based menu of all new cocktails set to inspire gin lovers.
Sipsmith Master Distiller Jared Brown, and Ham Yard’s expert cocktail team have crafted a menu that includes some hot, some cold and some that can do both. There will be low and no alcohol cocktails as well as an appearance from firm favourites, the signature Hot G&T and the piping hot ‘Reverse Martini’. All served with a food pairing to match.
All cocktails have been lovingly created using award-winning Sipsmith London Dry Gin. Ginthusiasts should look out for the Iced Clover Club garnished with a flaming kumquat, the Temperance Punch served straight from a cauldron on the BBQ with an orange blossom marshmallow, and the Swanky-Panky served hot or cold with a mini venison pie and sloe gin compote.
Every Thursday evening Sipsmith Master Distiller, Jared Brown will be hosting intimate masterclasses where guests will learn the history of Hot Gin Roof and be guided through a tasting of his favourite cocktails from the menu.
Hot Gin Roof tickets are £20 per person, and include a complimentary welcome Hot G&T, followed by a cocktail of your choice.
Choose to purchase a ticket that also includes a copy of Sipsmith's new book 'SIP' priced at £30.
The 90 minute sessions are available from 6.00pm – 7.30pm or 8.00pm – 9.30pm
Hot Gin Roof masterclass tickets are £50 per person, and include a welcome Hot G&T, followed by three further cocktails during the masterclass and a copy of 'SIP'.
The 90 minute masterclasses with Jared Brown are available every Thursday from 6.00pm – 7.30pm or 8.00pm – 9.30pm
Special Valentine's Day tickets are £50 per person and include a welcome cocktail, followed by two further cocktails and a Valentine's sharing board (regular tickets are also available)

In the midst of Soho and moments from Mayfair, Ham Yard Hotel has an urban village feel. The hotel revolves around a tree-filled garden with a bronze sculpture centrepiece by Tony Cragg.
Alongside the hotel's 91 individually designed bedrooms and suites are 24 apartments, 13 independent stores and a restaurant and bar with outdoor dining.
There is a drawing room and library, Spa and Gym, theatre, private event rooms and a 1950's style bowling alley. The rooftop terrace, another of the hotel's private events spaces, has sweeping views of the Soho skyline.
Interiors are designed by Kit Kemp in her award-winning modern British style.
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
