Craft Beer Running Tour

5 reviews - Meet at The Old Truman Brewery
Description
Join Secret London Runs for an easy-going 8km running tour through London's East End, stopping at a few of our favourite breweries and pubs to sample the best craft beer on offer. Along the way, your beer-loving tour guide will tell you more about the brewing history of the East End and the dynamics behind the recent craft beer revolution.
The run begins at the Old Truman Brewery - previously the largest brewery in the world - on bustling Brick Lane and takes you to a number of nods to the area's brewing past. At three breweries along the route, you'll stop for a quick sample armed with a score card, sampling tips and insight onto the rise of craft beer in the East End. The tour ends in a brewery in Hackney Wick, with a pint and a snack, after a beautiful jog along the canal.
So whether you're a beer-lover who can't get enough, or you want to understand what all the fuss is about, this is the best way to spend two or three hours in East London.
"This turned out so much better than we hoped. We ran, we sampled, we learnt and above all we laughed. This was then like a beer festival on the move, I really did learn lots about London's beer culture and we visited some great places! Josh was happy to answer all our questions and really knew his stuff 100% take the tour, the route alone is a an eye opener to a flourishing vibrant part of London that calls you to return and stay longer. Too good to be a secret, there's a pace and a beer for every taste, highly recommended even if you don't think you like beer!" Elaine Campbell, 5* TripAdvisor Review
Your ticket includes a small group running tour with a beer-loving guide (Josh or Ian), 3 samples along the route, a sampling card, a pint and snack at the finish line.

*Paces are a guide. All runners (usually about 15) on the tour run at the same pace behind the tour guide. The guide will run at the pace of the slowest runner - we don't leave anyone behind. But it is difficult to accommodate your pace if it is wildly slower than the pace you and the rest of the runners on your tour have signed up for. If you usually run faster than the pace you've signed up for, please be prepared to run at the pace of the tour to make the rest of the runners feel comfortable.*
