Join us at Chelsea Physic Garden for an evening feasting on the best seafood Britain has to offer, from luscious lobsters to scrumptious shrimp.
Company of Cooks is partnering with the esteemed Colchester Oyster Fishery of Essex to present a special three-course dinner menu designed for lingering enjoyment against the picturesque backdrop of Chelsea’s historic botanic garden.
You’ll start with a complimentary glass of Chablis before sitting down to plates of silky smoked salmon. A sumptuous shellfish platter with traditional accompaniments provides the main event, while gorgeous honeycomb cheesecake served with tea/coffee makes a satisfying conclusion.
The evening is the highlight of a September seafood festival at Chelsea Physic Garden Café (14–30 September), and the perfect prelude to Chelsea History Weekend (26 & 27 September). Tickets for the seafood dinner are £60 per person or £80 with lobster. Garden entry is included in the price; more wine – or anything you prefer from the fully-stocked bar – is extra.
The Celebration of Seafood is the latest in a series of monthly supper club events hosted by Company of Cooks at Chelsea Physic Garden. For more alfresco dining and picnic opportunities, see the website.
