Description
Bento is a single-portion take-out or home-packed meal traditionally made up with rice or noodles and fish or meat with pickled and cooked vegetables. In this workshop you can master the skills of creative bento making, sure to make your classmates or colleagues envious.

- Tamago Yaki (Japanese egg omelette)
- Chicken Karaage (Japanese fried chicken)
- Salmon Yuan Yaki (soy marinated salmon)
- Nasu Dengaku (miso aubergine)
- Spinach Goma-ae (spinach sesame dressing)
- Onigiri (rice balls)
- Miso Soup Ball (miso soup balls on the go)

About the Instructor:
Kinu Yukawa, Japanese Cooking Instructor & Food Stylist, was raised in the cosmopolitan foodie city of Kobe, Japan. Kinu fostered the basics of cooking at a young age from her grandmother who was an established chef. Kinu later trained in Japanese cuisine in Kyoto and Tokyo under washoku culinary masters. Kinu's lessons are hands-on and fun, focusing on teaching practical tips and techniques on Japanese cooking, as well as stylish Japanese presentation skills. Kinu has been teaching Japanese cooking at Japan Centre since 2010, sharing her expertise, knowledge and passion for Japanese food to students of all levels of cooking confidence. www.kinuyukawa.com

refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
