Petersham wine bar is happy to present Giro d’Italia. A trip around Italy - Piedmont
On this journey, we’ve explored the diverse wine regions of Italy. Starting on the Mediterranean coast, we discovered the volcanic richness of Sicily and Campania, and the sun-soaked vineyards of Puglia, tasting classics like Nero D'Avola and Primitivo. In Tuscany, we delved into the heart of Chianti and the legacy of the Mazzei family, celebrating over 600 years of winemaking excellence.
Now, our final stop brings us to Piedmont, the land of Barbera and Nebbiolo. Known for producing some of Italy’s finest wines, including Barolo and Barbaresco, this region offers elegance, complexity, and rich history in every glass. With wines crafted from Nebbiolo grapes, this tasting will highlight the balance of power and finesse that defines Piedmont, a region beloved by connoisseurs for its long-aging, world-class wines.
