An Immersive Private DINING EXPERIENCE

Share an unforgettable evening with your friends and family as Chef Jozef Youssef and his team at Kitchen Theory host you at their private Chef’s Table. Guiding you through a 10-course immersive tasting menu, Chef Jozef and his team showcase their passion for culinary creativity and ongoing research into the science of multisensory flavour perception with each dish brought to life with the aid of audio, lighting, table projections, aromas, and textures to give you a unique multisensory and immersive dining experience.

A unique and intimate space, the culinary design studio located in a Victorian warehouse loft in High Barnet, North London is home to the 12 seater Chef’s Table which sits in open-plan development kitchen with stunning views of the beautiful surrounding green area.

WE EAT FIRST WITH OUR EYES

The experimental tasting menu draws inspiration from Chef Jozef’s experience in some of London’s top Michelin Star restaurants as well as his travels across the world. The menu explores a broad variety of interesting ingredients, flavours, textures, and culinary techniques, yet at their core, these dishes are simply delicious ingredients paired with beautiful wines and exciting cocktails.

    Kitchen Theory
Kitchen Theory is an award winning experience design studio founded by experimental chef Jozef Youssef. Working with Oxford University’s experimental psychologist Professor Charles Spence, Chef Jozef is on an odyssey to understand the field of gastrophysics; the emerging science of understanding how our senses can alter our perception of flavour as well as ongoing research and developments in gastronomy. At the Kitchen Theory design studio we channel our creative method, scientific research and culinary expertise towards helping brands create memorable & shareable moments on every sensory level from press and influencer dinners to experiential public events. We also deliver inspiring talks and workshops across a wide range of industries. Our design studio is also home to the Chef's Table. A unique opportunity to get up close with the team as a maximum of 12 guests are served 10 multisensory courses at London’s most multisensory and experiential gastronomic chef’s table, complete with projection mapping, aromas and audio soundscapes distilling our research, culinary skills and creative experience design into a unique dining experience like no other. The Chefs table is bookable by the seat online only over the last weekend of the month for private event bookings.
