This winter, Sainsbury’s is launching an enchanting dining experience, bringing back the childhood magic of Christmas right in the heart of London…
On Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd November, doors will officially open to Sainsbury’s Big Friendly Feast, London’s first 2D illustrated dining experience inspired by the Roald Dahl’s iconic 'BFG’ - the lovable character featured in this year’s Christmas advert - and there’s a spot saved for you!
Designed to help adults rediscover childhood wonders and Christmas nostalgia this festive season, the experience breaks away from grown-up norms and offers a dining experience that’ll be sure to get a seal of approval from littles ones.
With a taste-bud tingling menu featuring desserts for starters and an array of whimsical party food, the event will rekindle the joys of the festive season, and remind adults of the simple pleasures of Christmas.
Guests can book a 90-minute space, between 12:00 – 19:00 on Friday and Saturday, with group tickets being just £5* for tables of 2 or 4. Walk-in groups will be asked to make a £5 donation upon entry. During the session, guests will enjoy an immersive table service dining experience, paired with giant-friendly picture moments and BFG-sized board games.
Savor a range of delights from Sainsbury’s new Taste the Difference Christmas range including a host of festive party food and sweet treats, such as the Taste the Difference Golden Forest and Taste the Difference Ice Ice Bao-By Penguins. When booking your ticket, you can select either mixed or vegetarian options, with gluten-free or vegan products available upon request.
Tickets will be released over the coming days, with additional tickets added regularly, watch this space.

By purchasing a ticket to Sainsbury’s Big Friendly Feast, you and your group are agreeing to these Terms&Conditions.
Allergies/Dietary Requirements
Please share allergies and dietary requirements with staff on arrival at the event
There will be vegan and gluten-free products available on the day. We can’t guarantee products will be available to suit all dietary requirements.
Accessibility:
The venue is fully accessible to all offering stair-free access with disabled toilets at a close by venue.
Disabled toilets are based in the Phillida Reid gallery, opposite the venue.
Booking Process:
Tickets cost £5 per group and will include a two- course immersive dining experience including party food, desserts and sweet treats with up to two cocktails or mocktails and hot drinks free of charge on the day.
Bookings are for 90-minutes, and your session will end at the time specified. If you are late, we are unable to extend your session, but we will hold your slot for 15-minutes from the time booked. After this time, your slot will be given to a walk in. Tickets cost £5 per group, please note, you will not receive a refund upon cancellation, your £5 will be donated to Comic Relief to support organisations that are helping alleviate food poverty in communities across the country.

To cancel you must notify us directly by emailing sainsburyschristmas@hopeandglorypr.com. We ask that you give a minimum of 24-hour notice if needing to cancel. Any personal information provided as part of your booking will be processed by the third-party booking platform Design my Night in accordance with their privacy policy at https://www.designmynight.com/privacy-notice and by Sainsbury’s in accordance with its privacy policy at https://privacy-hub.sainsburys.co.uk/privacy-policy/. Such personal data will be kept confidential and only used for the purpose of the event.
Children are welcome at the 2D story book cafe, All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Behaviour Policy:
If you or any of your guests are disorderly or disturb others, you may be politely asked to leave by one of our team members.
We ask that you and your guests do not bring your own alcohol to the event. Any alcohol not provided by the event will be removed. Alcohol provided within the event will only be served to customers aged 18+. Staff will follow the Challenge 25 rule when asking for groups for ID.
