Sainsbury's Book-a-BBQ Garden

By purchasing a ticket, you and up to 5 of your guests attending the Sainsbury’s Book-a-BBQ Garden event, to be held on Thursday 1st to Saturday 3rd June, 2023 at Riverside Slice on the London South Bank, are agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.

Allergies/Dietary Requirements:

Please ensure that you share dietary requirements at the time of booking and again with staff on arrival at the event. Please also check all product packaging on the day regarding your allergies and dietary requirements. You can find the full menu and relevant allergen information within the “Menus” section.

We cannot guarantee products will be available to suit all dietary requirements but will try our best provided these are shared in advance at the time of booking.

As the food will be prepared in an environment that handles allergens, we cannot guarantee the absence of any allergens.

Booking Process:

Bookings are for 90 minutes, and your session will end at the time specified on your booking. If you are late, we won't be able to extend your session, but we will hold your slot for 15 minutes, and if you arrive later than 15 minutes of your event time, you will no longer be able to attend the event.

We reserve the right to cancel the event in the event of weather conditions that make the event unsafe. The event entry and all food and drink items for your ticket are free, but we will take a £5 deposit to secure your booking through our third-party payment provider Design my Night. This will be fully refunded within 2 working days of you attending the event, or us cancelling in the event of the above, or if you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice or if your dietary or allergy products that you shared with us at the time of the booking were not made available to you.

To cancel you must notify us Sainsbury’s directly by emailing sainsburysBBQ@hopeandglorypr.com. If you cancel within less than 24 hours’-notice or fail to attend your slot or turn up more than 15 minutes late for your slot, your £5 deposit will be donated to Sainsbury’s and Comic Relief’s Nourish the Nation programme, to help tackle food poverty.

Any personal information provided as part of your booking will be processed by the third party booking platform Design my Night in accordance with their privacy policy at https://www.designmynight.com/privacy-notice and by Sainsbury’s in accordance with its privacy policy at https://privacy-hub.sainsburys.co.uk/privacy-policy/.

Children are welcome at the Book-a-BBQ Garden although, all guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Food Safety:

We encourage you and all of your party to embrace the DIY cooking experience, although staff – including Weber Grill Masters – will be on hand if you have any questions. There will also be leaflets featuring cooking tips from Sainsbury’s and grilling advice from TV chef and BBQ enthusiast Simon Rimmer.

You and your guests are solely responsible for ensuring that all food is cooked thoroughly, using the temperature probes provided.

We ask that you and your guests use the separately marked tools for cooking meat and vegetables. Clean tools will be provided for each booking.

There will also be hand washing facility on site which must be used by you and your guests before handling food and we also encourage all guests to use after cooking food and after cooking.

Alcohol-Free Event:

Please note this is an alcohol-free event, so if you or any of your guests are disorderly or disturb others, you and any of your guests may be politely asked to leave by one of our team members. We also ask that you and your guests do not bring in your own alcohol, and if you do so you will be removed from the event.
