For the very first time in London, The Clarisse Sisters will present their new album "Fire & Ice".

"Gravity, the new single by The Clarisse Sisters, is a great song. Very classy!"

Mike Read, Heritage Chart (ex. BBC Radio 1 and TOTP presenter)

"The Single (Gravity) is amazing. The Clarisse Sisters are great singers!"

David Grant, former singer and BBC London presenter (Saturday Breakfast Show)

With a Trio of first class musicians: Simon Lea on Drums and percussions, Andres Lafone on Bass, Giorgio Serci on Guitar, the Vocal Jazz Trio from Mauritius will perform an acoustic rendetion of their best songs.

Come and discover the intricate vocal harmonies of three island girls who have mesmerized audiences around the world for 30 years, as backing vocalists for Erasure, Basia, Incognito, Matt Bianco and Howard Jones.

The Clarisse Sisters are composed of 3 sisters: twins Annick and Veronique and elder sister Dominique.

The twins first performed in England 30 years ago, during ERASURE's most successful world tour - The Tank, the Swann and the Balloon (1992). These concerts coincided with ERASURE's only UK N°1 single, the Abbaesque EP, for which Annick and Veronique performed for the first time on Top of the Pops. The world tour finished at the end of 1992, after 104 concerts in Europe and North America.

Then, throughout 1994, The Clarisse Sisters toured Japan, the USA and Europe with BASIA, starting a collaboration with the Latin Jazz singer, that would last 21 years. This was a new chapter in the island sisters' vocal development, working with a 15 piece band and performing in large venues around the world. This collaboration with BASIA ended in March 2015 at the Cape Town Jazz Festival in front of 10.000 fans.

In the past 7 years, The Clarisse Sisters have gone solo and released two wonderful albums. The opener, KALEIDOSCOPE!, found great success in their Indian Ocean native region, where their first single "Papitou" was a N°1 hit and voted among the 10 finalists for "song of the year" in 2015. The sophomore album, "FIRE & ICE" was released from London on Jaaz Records independent label in March 2022.

The title track and first single "Fire & Ice", a bossa nova duet with BASIA, reached N°2 in Poland on the Radio 357 chart. The 2nd single "Gravity" peaked at N°13 in Mike Read's Heritage Chart in England. Their third single "Butterflies in June" was released last month. It is a collaboration with their compatriot Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick, founder and leader of acid jazz pioneers INCOGNITO.

The concert at Toulouse Lautrec is historical as the very first gig of the Mauritian sisters in London. For lovers of beautiful voices with a definite "French Flair", the evening will be a night to remember...
