John Landor Director
Join us for a magical classical concert in the beautiful candlelit atmosphere of London's Royal Church of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square. Curated by John Landor, pioneer of the 'Candlelight Concerts' and renowned Artistic Director of the London Musical Arts Orchestra. Hear the best baroque music, including Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons’, and immerse yourself in 'Meet the Music', as the players come out into the audience to play excerpts. A highly recommended experience!
The Four Seasons is one of the most famous descriptive piece of music ever written (another is Beethoven's 'Pastoral Symphony'). It's full of vivid musical portrayals of birds singing, dogs barking, peasants dancing (and falling over drunk!), storms raging, mosquitos biting - a real feast of musical delights!
