We’ve had Drake, we’ve had Prince, we’ve even had Jay vs Bey. But now it’s time to pay our respects to two of hip-hop and r’n’b’s most iconic artists of all time in a battle of the producers.
In the hip-hop corner is Cali’s finest Dr Dre, who came up as of rap group NWA before going on to become one of the finest solo rappers in his own right as well as discovering his protégé Eminem and working with Eve and Snoop Dogg in the studio.
Holding it down for the r’n’b side of things will be Timbaland, who has classic tracks coming out of his ears thanks to strong collaborations with the likes of Aaliyah, Ginuwine and Justin Timberlake, followed by a successful stint as a solo artist in the late noughties.
