The Conde Nast Traveller 'Best Afternoon Tea in London'
The multi award winning Little Nan’s Bar, a traveling cocktail bar and High Tea parlour, is spoiling you all with High Tea & cocktails round their East London Summer pop up Little Nan's Rio Bar, a kitsch haven hidden in the secret vaults of the Rio Cinema in Dalston.
The Rio Cinema is an amazing, Grade II listed, independent Art Deco cinema in the Heart of Dalston. When growing up, Little Nan used to travel through ‘The Pipe’ (Blackwall tunnel) from her home in Deptford and sell ice-cream and sweets at the Rio Cinema on Wednesday & Saturday nights. She often spoke about the parties she attended in the basement back in the 1930’s!
This Afternoon Tea is Perfect for celebrations, birthdays, hen parties, dates and family get-togethers!
Little Mum (the daughter of Little Nan) has created a High Tea menu using Little Nan's vintage family recipes for her Afternoon Tea Cocktail Parties!
MENU INCLUDES:
- Home baked scones & Little Mums raspberry Jam with Cream
- Selection of mini pastries and cakes
- Victoria Sponge
- Carrot Cake
- Seasonal treats
- Sandwiches (Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese/ Egg Mayo/ Ham and Mustard/ Jam/ Veggie)
- 2 servings of Cocktails per person

All guests can enjoy a free visit into the Giff Giff props dress up room during or after the High Tea. Perfect for those group shots and the instagram lovers!

Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons.
