Are you looking to learn to hand embroider but don't know where to start? The Lost Girls have got you covered.
With the option to "Bring Your Own" item, you will have the evening to get creative and bring back something that you perhaps forgot about in your wardrobe that could do with a little TLC.
This drop in style session is suitable for all abilities;
beginners who want to learn new skills to advanced embroider's who
are looking to meet new people who share similar hobbies and
passions.
The session will be split into a welcome section where we will run through the class schedule and show you around the studio. Before we begin to embroider our product, everyone in the class will get a practise period to draw a motif* on a scrap bit of fabric so we thoroughly encourage you to come with ideas! The Lost Girls will then talk you through and demonstrate each step of learning how to hand embroider and you will get some time to practice this at your own pace.
*Please note: we provide inspiration and stencils for unconfident drawers. We can of course assist you with any part of this process if required.
Once you feel ready, we can apply your new techniques to the real thing! You will then spend the rest of the evening embroidering at your own speed with both Aoife and Georgie present to assist you with any needs you may have.
Worried you won't finish your design in time? Don't! You will get your own embroidery kit to take home so that you can continue your own work wherever you fancy!
Refreshments
This class will also be BYOB/
Refreshments if desired and we have a drink fridge on site to chill
your beverages to your own preference. We will also provide some
sweet treats, so pease let us know if you have any dietary
requirements ahead of the session by emailing us at

Duration
The class will begin at 6.45pm and have a duration of two hours with a finish time at 8.45pm. We encourage you to arrive 5 minutes early so that you can get settled.

2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
