In celebration of the 400th Anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, The Festival Players Theatre Company is proud to present the Bard’s most famous play, Hamlet. Presented in full costume, an all-male company will bring you the excitement of this great thriller; intrigue, ghostly visitations, passion, a play-within-a play, a gripping duel, and humour, in a crystal-clear and fast-paced 2-Hour production. The Festival Players has been touring Shakespeare plays throughout the UK and parts of Europe for 31 years; in 2012 we took over another Company, Theatre Set-Up, which had been on the road for slightly longer, giving a combined experience of over 65 years taking highly-accessible Shakespeare into the community.

Audience-member quote:

“I have managed to avoid Shakespeare for nearly 50 years until I was dragged along tonight by my Granddaughter. It was so good I will be back for your next production”
