London has a fantastic pub culture and some of these establishments have been trading for over 400 years. Our pub tours take in the hidden gems, literary haunts, pubs with a nefarious story and those providing both traditional and new-age craft beer experiences.

Each week I will focus on different areas of London and groups of up to 10 will be personally be guided by me around 4 classic pubs enabling the inquisitive traveller to easily engage with my city's unique pubs.
Drink the 2,000 year history of the City of London and discover the beginnings of Londinium, grab a beer in the site of a former medieval Dominican friary and sit by an open fire within a 16th century pub rebuilt after the Great Fire of London.

We move on to investigate the pub where the crown jewels were kept safe during two World Wars and enjoy the luxurious splendour within an old gin palace. Many of the discoveries you will make are not found in popular guidebooks.

I am an accredited Beer Sommelier, certified Cicerone® and international beer judge, and have been conducting beer tours and tastings for many years. Over the years I have amassed a huge amount of knowledge of the City's pubs, craft breweries and taprooms, and built up a network of contacts with some of the key people involved in London's vibrant beer culture. I have also amassed an intensive knowledge of the best of Belgium's breweries and beer festivals. I visit Belgium frequently, developing contacts within the industry to ensure that my guests enjoy the best Belgium beer experiences possible. In a previous life, I was a member of the Quality team at Fuller’s, London’s oldest brewery. I also delivered brewery tours at its Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, welcoming visitors from the UK and overseas. I have hosted tutored beer tastings for many years, and have a thorough knowledge of beer – from grain to glass.
