Description
New Union is a Gay and Lesbian friendly Hotel and Bar situated near the famous Gay Village of Canal Street. The Union Hotel was built in 1865 and the architecture reflects the buildings heritage. The building itself has been a Gay and Lesbian friendly venue since the 50s.
The Bar, which is in the older part of the building has a pub atmosphere in the day with pool tables and fruit machines, perfect for a quick one after work or to escape the city centre. In the evening it has more of a night club vibe with a large dance floor, dancing poles and a party crowd. It's open till late on Fridays and Saturdays where they have DJs, regular karaoke nights, drag cabaret, theme nights and some amazing drink deals.
