Description
Cornerhouse is Manchester’s International Centre for contemporary visual arts and independent film; culturally one of Manchester’s finest institutions, open since 1985. With art galleries and 3 screens showing the best in independent cinema, Cornerhouse is a real artsy treat. The bar itself is spacious and bright, with large windows offering views out onto the bustling pavements of Oxford Road below.
The bar serves a great range of bottled and draught beers from across the globe as well as providing a fine wine list and a simple selection of classic cocktails. The bar is also a great place to grab a home-cooked meal in the heart of Manchester with hearty meals available such as the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich and Lamb Burger. You can also get your hands on some Napoli-style pizzas, Sunday brunches, platters and sharing boards; anything that will stop those hunger pangs.
Cornerhouse Bar is perfect as a place to catch up with friends for a drink or just to enjoy a light bite and tipple before watching a film in one of the screens. Cornerhouse Bar is cool and fresh and offers a great alternative to some of the more commercial city centre bars in Manchester.
