Located on Albion Street, across the road from the main run of Deansgate Locks bars, Element 19 is a brand new cocktail lounge bar housed in the canalside building which used to be Aqua Bar. Serving up an extensive list of cocktails alongside wines, beers and spirits, Element 19 promises a laid back atmosphere and stylish surroundings. The bar is spread over two floors, with the downstairs level boasting large windows overlooking the canal. The bar will also host regular live music nights, with organisers planning special jazz evenings.
What we say:
Element 19 looks set to be a welcome addition to this part of town, and we're pleased that this quirky building is finally being put to good use after laying empty for so long. With a more relaxed, chilled out atmosphere than its fellow Deansgate Locks bars, this new Manchester cocktail bar promises to be a great place for after work drinks and cocktails. This end of town is a little lacking in live music venues, so we're also really looking forward to seeing what live events Element 19 have up their sleeve.
