A popular hit with students and hipsters and drinkers a-like, The Venue near Deansgate is open Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays playing Retro, Funk, Soul and Indie music. The dance floor is normally packed, as is the bar, with drinks starting at £1 for shots, £1.60 for vodka & bottles (£1.20 Weekdays). Leather sofas plus damask and animal wallpaper give the seating areas a retro and unusual vibe.
