Brought to you by dapper business denizens Chris Longmate and Dominic Gottelier, of Alderley Edge's The Wizard no less, Didsbury looks set to wield a brand new dining wonder in the shape of Chalk Bar and Grill. Set to boast a £350, 000 investment and broaching into three adjoining spaces of 3,700 sq ft, Chalk Bar and Grill is soon to be a plot of contemporary dining spaces, bar areas, an outdoor seating space and ample room for entertainment. Also boasting cocktails, British dining and fine wines.
What we say:
Whilst Didbury may boast a few plush liquid plots, it's great to see these two Manchester chaps take the leap into one of the city's less sought after suburbs. If rumours of contemporary dining, modern interiors and cocktail charm are set to be true, then we're excited to see how Chalk Bar and Grill will establish itself as a go-to dinner and drinks destination in the heart of Didsbury. Oh, and for the record ladies and gents, rumours of their very own 'champagne wall' happen to be rife.
