A new kid on the block who has been quietly settling into the streets of Didsbury is Cibo, a Northern Italian inspired bar and restaurant with a simple menu and fresh ingredients locally sourced. With pasta, dough, bread and desserts all made on-site; the enticing smells of the kitchen fill the streets during the morning so when it comes to lunchtime; you're ready to experience all that Cibo has to offer.
With fresh produce delivered daily, Cibo is taking the already high standards of Didsbury restaurants and bars to the next level with a rustically Northern Italian cuisine adorns the menu with smaller Chichetti tapas snack for an after-work drinks accompaniment.
Add in the smooth mix of local DJs playing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10pm with their "funky bar grooves and electric mixes", and you'll be transported to a world you won't ever want to leave.
What we say:
Didsbury has become a great little hot spot for all things new and exciting and Cibo is no exception. Where else can you find a restaurant which looks like you've just walked straight into a Northern Italian deli with fresh fish on ice and plenty of eclectic Italian art adorning the walls. Add in the centerpiece of a gorgeous rustic iron spiral staircase transporting you up to their private hire room, and an enticing menu of classic and twisted cocktails and we think we've found the next best thing on the Didsbury nightlife scene.
Oh and don't forget about Champagne Fridays - a bottle of Champagne and a selection of Chichetti tapas for £20 - bargain!
